Welcome! The Orpheus Choir of North Herts, based in Hitchin, is an established and popular chamber choir founded in 1969, with a repertoire ranging from early music - Bach, Vivaldi, Monteverdi and many others - to (more or less) up to date arrangements of folk tunes and jazz standards. Click on 'About us' and 'Concerts' for an idea of who we are and what we do - further details can be found under the 'Future' and 'Previous' concert sub-headings. The 'General Membership Details' page will give you information on our recruitment policy, the 'Rehearsals' and 'Current fees' sub-headings tell you where we sing and how much it all costs.
